Part One To Our Story
Similar to most individuals, we were unfamiliar with group class fitness approach and had limited awareness of its existence. Despite being fairly active—engaging in activities like basketball, occasional running, and hikes—we believed we were in decent shape as middle-aged parents of three girls. It was only when my wife received an invitation from a friend to explore a new fitness regimen that our perspective began to shift.
Part Two To Our Story
My wife possesses a strong determination. When she commits to something enjoyable or beneficial, she goes all in. She had been participating in a group class for about a month before convincing me to join. Being a typical husband, I was somewhat nonchalant, thinking, “Sure, why not? Can’t be as impressive as it’s made out to be.” Keep in mind, I had engaged in serious running, played basketball regularly for years, and believed I was in good shape. However, that 8-minute workout during my introductory group class completely challenged me, and from that point on, we were hooked.
Part Three To Our Story
Now we are all in. We have been coaching for over 7 years, and trying to convince others that group classes are the best possible thing for your health. We were presented with the opportunity to buy FireTower Athletics, and we took the plunge. Why you may ask? Because in our life we have done many things and researched many ways to always improve our health. We firmly believe group classes with varied programming and sensible nutrition is the single best thing people can do to help keep chronic disease at bay and help them live a long and happy life. The two most important things in life as we age are muscle mass and bone density, and there is no better way to do that than to lift heavy stuff fast, in a fun, non-judgemental environment, than doing group classes with the support of others. Come join our family, and our FireTower Community for an hour a day, to make the other 23 hours easier and healthier.
