Very quickly I realized this is a safe place and a no judgement zone. And that Everyone is there doing the same things to achieve higher limits and to be better.

I grew up in Clancy attending Clancy Elementary and Jefferson High School playing volleyball, basketball and tennis throughout.

I attended College in Missoula landing a degree in Nursing along with two other Associated Degrees in the Medical field. Currently, I am the Nurse Manager of a very busy outpatient unit in the Hospital.

My husband Bret and I have three very active kids, Kaylee, Conagher and Elers, who stretch us very thin at times, as we chauffeur them to and from activities and sports. Most the time we feel crazy and exhausted, but love what we do and provide these opportunities to them. We are lucky to have a great extended family support system to help ease the stretch and get everyone where they would like to go.

We love being outdoors exploring mountain tops and river bottoms, while we camp, fish, hunt and relax in the open air.

We have an amazing lab mix Nyssa who loves to explore alongside of us.

When Bret and I were discussing where we wanted to raise our family there was no place like home.

My CrossFit story began in January 2021 after Bret had joined just a few months prior. We started taking the Nutrition class and I realized how silly it would be to not be making adjustments and improvements to my physical health along with nutritional health.

Coming into the gym for the first time was extremely intimidating only because of my own lack of confidence and the unknown.

I was greeted by Coach Judy and several other FireTower members who were signed up for class at that time.

Very quickly I realized this is a safe place and a no judgement zone. And that Everyone is there doing the same things to achieve higher limits and to be better.

My ideal class time is 3:30, but some days this just isn’t feasible.

I love many things about FireTower:

So many class times!

The coaches are so encouraging and motivating. They are always pushing you to do your best and reach new limits regardless of if they are a participant in the class or coaching.

Love they have an option for a Kids class.

Your kids are more likely to pick up habits as they observe those they look up to doing. So why not make it a healthy one!

Boot Camp class with Jamie give an additional option a few days of the week!

Just show up!  There is very little prep for the class. The coaches are there to guide you through.

If you have never tried it, give it a go!

There are modifications for everything exercise and you get out of it what you put into it.

I recommend taking the Nutrition class with Coach Judy and Underdog Fitness.

The structure of the class is set up to make small adjustments that over time result in changes.

I like that you can look at the Beyond the Whiteboard ahead of time to prepare for the work out as well as log your workout results.

This really helps to see progress.

Our typically day starts with 5AM ish alarm, and on some days a few rounds of the snooze button. But we can’t sleep in past 6:30!

We pack snacks and lunches.

Favorite breakfast is blueberries and cottage cheese with bacon bits.

Favorite snack is a hardboiled egg with bacon bits and carrots.

Favorite lunch is a salad or riced cauliflower, chicken and garlic and herb laughing cow cheese.

We then hit the ground for the day! Dinner occurs as the day’s events allow.

The FireTower Community has helped strengthen me in many ways. I have not only built muscle but gained confidence and best of all met a great Team of individuals who are positive, motivating and encouraging me to continue to reach new limits I didn’t think I was capable of.

The FireTower Community has been a great addition to our family!!
